Everybody knows a few baby rhymes but if your tot has ever given you that telltale "Don't you know anything but This Little Piggy” look, you might be ready for From Wibbleton to Wobbleton. This new video from veteran storyteller Sally Jaeger is staged to recreate the feel of Lullabies and Lap Rhymes, a show she performs in Toronto. She leads parents and babies through more than three dozen finger plays, lap rhymes and Mother Goose poems, some familiar and some you’ve never heard. This isn’t exactly scintillating viewing (although some of the babies are very cure), but it's an easy way to learn the actions as well as the words and melodies. A good choice for libraries, family resource programs and early childhood educators.
